India is the second-largest market for OpenAI, Sam Altman said in New Delhi on Wednesday, adding that the company tripled its number of users here in the past year. “India is an incredibly important market for AI, in general, for OpenAI in particular,” Altman said. “India should be one of the leaders of the AI revolution. It’s really quite amazing to see what the country has done and embraced the technology and building the entire stack of things on top of it.”
