Cybersecurity startup Astra Security has raised $2.7 million in a funding round led by Emergent VenturesThe round also witnessed participation from The Neon Fund, Better Capital, Blume Ventures and PointOne Capital.

The New Delhi-based startup said it plans to use the funds to enhance capabilities to uncover vulnerabilities in cloud environments.

It also aims to deepen its focus on using artificial intelligence (AI) to help developers and security engineers build security detections more effectively.
