Cybercriminals are increasingly turning to new AI models, such as DeepSeek and Alibaba’s Qwen, to bypass security measures and develop harmful content, according to a recent report by Check Point Research.

Following the launch of these AI platforms, threat actors quickly shifted from using ChatGPT to exploiting these new tools, manipulating the models to create malicious material and spread cybercrimes.

One of the main tactics used is “jailbreaking,” where users remove censorship and restrictions placed on AI systems to generate uncensored content….
