The Indo-Pacific Business Promotion Council Summit 2025 was successfully held on January 24–25 at the Seoul Startup Hub in Geongdeok, bringing together over 60 companies and delegates from more than five countries. Following his address, four major companies in cosmetics, smart cities, and pollution control presented their innovative solutions, underscoring the region’s commitment to sustainability and technological advancements.
The afternoon session featured a speech from Dr. Udit Raj, former Member of Parliament in India and Chairperson of the Council for Promotion of Trade and Industries. He highlighted the rising demand for Korean cosmetics and healthcare products in India and encouraged businesses to tap into new bilateral trade opportunities.
The event then transitioned into sponsor presentations, starting with Microalgae Ask Us, a biotech company pioneering sustainable environmental solutions through microalgae technology. Additionally, Ms. Nuon Phanith, Commercial Attaché of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia, delivered a speech inviting international businesses to explore Cambodia’s growing investment opportunities. She emphasized the strengthening commercial ties between South Korea and Cambodia, noting the benefits of bilateral business expansion.

A significant segment of the summit was a presentation by Mr. Kevin Drouin, Commercial Attaché of the Delegation of Quebec in Korea, who discussed potential partnerships between Quebec-based businesses and Indo-Pacific stakeholders. Day 2 – Industry Exhibitions, Global Business Perspectives, and Expansion Strategies

The summit also featured virtual presentations by Ms. Chintia Dewi, a mapping survey expert from Indonesia’s Geospatial Information Agency, and Mr. Raison D. Arobinto, Division Chief at the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry. Both speakers shared valuable insights into regional market trends, investment opportunities, and the future of Indo-Pacific economic cooperation.
