Blinkit funding: Blinkit gets Rs 1,500-crore cash boost from Zomato

India’s largest quick commerce platform Blinkit has received a Rs 1,500 crore fund infusion from its parent company Zomato, according to a regulatory filing made with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).Last month, Zomato had pumped in Rs 500 crore into the company. With the latest equity infusion, Zomato has injected a total of Rs 4,300 crore in Blinkit since it acquired the online grocery delivery firm in August 2022. Formerly known as Grofers, Zomato had purchased the company for Rs 4,477 crore in an all-stock deal.
