European Union: EU to continue fight against harmful tax competition, EU’s Vestager says

The European Union will continue its work against harmful tax competition and aggressive tax planning by EU countries and multinationals via legislative proposals and enforcement, EU antitrust chief Margrethe Vestager said on Tuesday.

Earlier on Tuesday, Europe’s top court endorsed her order to Apple to pay a record 13 billion euros in back taxes to Ireland.
