Infosys: Infosys settles US cyber incident lawsuits for $17.5 million

Infosys on Friday said that it has agreed to pay $17.5 million (around Rs 152 crore) after it reached an agreement in-principle relating to six lawsuits against Infosys McCamish Systems (McCamish) and few of its customers in a cyber data breach incident.

The lawsuits were in response to the IT major’s US subsidiary’s cyber security breach in November 2023, that exposed approximately 6.5 million individuals’ information to unauthorised access.
