Karnataka GIS platform: Karnataka’s tech platform bags gold at national e-governance awards

The Karnataka government won gold at the national e-governance awards 2024 for its geographic information system platform (K-GIS) that provides seamless data for government applications. Over 4,12,546 citizens have used the state government’s web applications and mobile apps, which are enabled by the K-GIS platform. Over 25,000 departmental officers have also benefitted from the platform, the award citation read.
