The Indian government has initiated discussions with X, the Elon Musk-owned platform formerly known as Twitter, regarding its AI chatbot, Grok.

Sources within the government have told CNBC-TV18 that no summons have been issued to officials of xAI, the company behind Grok, but the Centre is closely evaluating the chatbot’s responses for potential violations of Indian laws.
