WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new feature that will allow Android users to share motion photos in individual chats, group conversations, and channels.

According to WABetaInfo, the feature is currently being tested in the latest beta version (2.25.8.12) on the Google Play Store. It works just like Samsung’s Motion Photo, Google Pixel’s Top Shot, and Apple’s Live Photos, capturing a few seconds of video before and after you take a picture. That means no more choosing between a video or a still image.
