Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) startup DeepSeek has become the fastest-growing AI tool globally, surpassing OpenAI’s ChatGPT in new monthly website visits, according to AI analytics platform aitools.xyz.

The report added, DeepSeek recorded 524.7 million new visits in February 2025, exceeding ChatGPT’s 500 million.

Despite its rapid rise, DeepSeek remains the third-largest AI tool, behind ChatGPT and Canva. However, aitools.xyz data shows DeepSeek’s market share grew from 2.34% to 6.58% in February, signalling increasing global acceptance….
