ChatGPT just got a whole lot more personal. OpenAI has started rolling out an upgraded memory feature that allows the AI chatbot to automatically remember details from all your past conversations—without needing to be reminded.

Announcing the update on X (formerly Twitter), OpenAI CEO Sam Altman called it a “surprisingly great feature” that points to something bigger: AI that evolves with you over time. “It points at something we are excited about: AI systems that get to know you over your life, and become extremely useful and personalized,”…
