YouTube is introducing a new AI tool, which can generate instrumental tracks for videos for free, allowing creators to avoid copyright claims. This feature, demonstrated in a video on the company’s Creator Insider channel, enables users to use the AI to create original instrumental backing music for their videos, TechCrunch reported.

The host, Lauren, showed a new tab in the Creator Music beta section on the online video-sharing platform, called Music Assistant. In the new AI feature, you can enter prompts like “Give me uplifting music for a workout…
