Indian, African solar start-ups join forces to cut costs and brighten futures

MOKA: Last week, during the 2-day workshop of the SolarX Startup Accelerator Programme 2025 conducted by the International Solar Alliance (ISA) and Business Mauritius, some Indian and African start-ups signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) for using each other’s products to lower the costs associated with solar energy. According to ISA officials, a cohort of 50 selected start-ups from the Asia and APAC region participated in the programme, including 10 from India and 20 from Africa.
