Chinese OEMs On India’s Radar 

In what appears to be a redux of 2020, when the Indian government banned a series of Chinese apps, the Centre is tightening scrutiny over the use of Chinese telecom equipment in domestic telecom networks. 

DoT has asked major telcos — Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL — to report all Chinese gear currently deployed in their networks.
