Google offering free Gemini Advanced, 2 TB to college students

After previously offering a 50% discount, Google is now giving US college students free Gemini Advanced and Google One AI Premium for 15 months.

Officially, Google is framing this as helping students ahead of finals. It’s also competing against similar offers from OpenAI and Perplexity:

Students have until June 30, 2025 to sign-up, with free access for 15 months upon activation. They must have an .edu address, but the plan will be activated on their personal Gmail/Google…
