Industry bodies on Tuesday raised concerns over what they say are the unregulated and unethical practices of ref=”dofollow” data-ga-onclick=”Inarticle articleshow link click#Tech#href” href=”https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/topic/ecommerce” target=”_blank”>ecommerce and ref=”dofollow” data-ga-onclick=”Inarticle articleshow link click#Tech#href” href=”https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/topic/quick-commerce-companies” target=”_blank”>quick commerce companies in India. In particular, they objected to “predatory pricing” and “deep discounting” by these companies, which violate data-ga-onclick=”Inarticle articleshow link click#Tech#href” target=”_blank” href=”https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/definition/fdi”>FDI regulations.
The conclave was organised by The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) in association with the All India Mobile Retailers Association (AIMRA) and Organised Retailers Association (ORA).
