Billionaire Elon Musk’s xAI has unveiled a new feature for its Grok chatbot that gives it the ability to “see” the world in real-time using a smartphone’s camera, much like Google’s Gemini and OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

On Tuesday, xAI said that Grok Vision enables users to point their phone at everyday items—such as products, signs, or documents—and immediately ask questions about what they’re seeing. The chatbot can then provide instant explanations and context.
