Karnataka HC adjourns hearing in X’s petition over info blocking orders

The Karnataka High Court has adjourned the hearing in a petition where X Corp (formerly Twitter) has challenged the Indian government’s order asking it to take down posts under a provision that removes the “safe harbour” protection.

The matter has been re-listed for further hearing on July 1, according to daily orders posted on the court’s website on April 23. The adjournment was sought by X’s counsel, senior lawyer KG Raghavan, who informed the court that the petitioner wanted to file applications seeking amendments to the petition.
