In response to the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed 26 lives and injured several others, the Union Government has called for an all-party meeting on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

According to government sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh are personally reaching out to leaders across political parties to participate in the discussion.

Following the attack, India has taken strong diplomatic action against Pakistan, including downgrading bilateral ties, expelling Pakistani military attachés, suspending the Indus Water Treaty, and shutting down the Attari land-transit post, citing cross-border involvement in the incident.
