HCLFoundation to give grants of Rs 5 crore each to 3 winning NGOs in environment, health, education spaces

HCLFoundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of IT services firm HCLTech, said it will award grants of Rs 5 crore ($2 million) each to three non-governmental organisations (NGOs) engaged in the fields of environment, health, and education. Six runner up NGOs will each be given Rs 25 lakh ($29,000) each.Since its inception in 2011, it has awarded Rs 152.8 crore (around $18.4 million) through its grant initiative to help scale “high-impact projects”.

This year, winning NGOs in different categories will receive a total Rs 16.5 crore…
