YouTube has paid over ₹21,000 crore to Indian creators, artists and media companies over the past three years, and will invest an additional ₹850 crore over the next two years to support the growth of India’s creator economy. The announcement was made by YouTube CEO Neal Mohan at the inaugural World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) held in Mumbai.
