India’s tablet market sees strong start to 2025, led by Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi: CMR

India’s tablet market posted a robust 15% year-on-year (YoY) growth in the first quarter of 2025, fuelled by rising demand from consumers and enterprises for premium and 5G-enabled devices, according to the latest data from CyberMedia Research (CMR).

The growth was most pronounced in the premium segment, which expanded 41% compared to the same period last year. 5G-enabled tablets now account for 43% of total shipments, a clear sign that Indian consumers are increasingly opting for future-ready devices.
