Revant Himatsingka, widely known as “Food Pharmer,” recently opened up about a defining moment in his career as a health advocate. After quitting his job in the U.S. and turning down offers from food brands to stay true to his principles, he faced severe financial struggles and was burdened with eight legal cases. In December 2023, during this tough phase, he crossed paths with Zerodha co-founder and CEO Nithin Kamath at an event.
Impressed by Himatsingka’s dedication to honest health content, Kamath generously offered financial help—without asking for anything in return. When asked if he wanted equity in exchange, Kamath simply said, “None. I just want to support you.” The selfless gesture left a lasting impact on Himatsingka, who had never interacted with Kamath before.
Though he ultimately declined the offer, wanting to build a stable income independently, Himatsingka expressed deep gratitude. He noted that in a world focused on returns, Kamath’s action reminded him that real wealth lies in character. “You didn’t just offer help,” he said. “You inspired me.”
This story is a powerful reminder of the value of selfless support and staying true to one’s mission, even in the face of adversity.
