TCS, Virgin Atlantic extend tech alliance of two decades; AI to power this phase

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and UK-based airline Virgin Atlantic have extended their technology partnership for another seven years, aiming to drive artificial intelligence (AI)-led airline operations and enhance customer experience. The renewed agreement builds on the 20-year collaboration between the two companies.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the expanded engagement, TCS will modernise Virgin Atlantic’s core systems with a cloud-first, AI-led digital core, TCS said in a statement on Tuesday.
