Android tablets have hit something of a purple patch — just this year, we’ve had at least one exceptional tablet in the Xiaomi Pad 7 (and its nano-texture variant), which I called the iPad killer.

But now, that claim has been put to an initial test — now that I’ve tried out the OnePlus Pad 3 for a few days.

Sporting a massive 13-inch screen, weighing a not-inconsiderable half-a-kilogram, and an enormous battery, the OnePlus Pad 3 is, as the headline implies, exceptionally impressive.
