At its annual WWDC 2025 event, Apple revealed iOS 26 with what it called its ‘most immersive and responsive UI’—a sweeping visual redesign called Liquid Glass. Featuring real-time rendering, dynamic reflections, and glass-like textures, the update marks Apple’s boldest design shift since iOS 7.

But instead of receiving applause, it became the butt of online jokes. The tech community on social media was not impressed.
