This will make Shukla the second Indian to fly to space after Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma in 1984.

Who is Shubhanshu Shukla?
Born and brought up in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Shubhanshu Shukla was commissioned into the ref=”dofollow” data-ga-onclick=”Inarticle articleshow link click#Tech#href” target=”_blank” href=”https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/indian-air-force-news”>Indian Air Force in June 2006.
