Meta, on Thursday, launched a new generative AI-powered video editing feature across its Meta AI app, the Meta.AI website, and the Edits app, giving users the ability to transform short-form videos using a wide range of preset prompts — no video editing experience required.

The tool is available starting today in the US and several other countries. According to Meta, this rollout marks the company’s first major step toward integrating AI-driven video editing across its ecosystem, with more advanced features planned for later this year.
