Rapido suspends bike taxis in Karnataka following HC directive

Ride-hailing company Rapido has suspended bike taxi services in Karnataka complying with the directive of the high court, the company said.

In a note on its app, the company said, “While we deeply believe in the value bike taxis bring to daily commuters, we respect the law and will fully abide by the directive.”

Rapido said it is working with the government to bring bike taxis back on the road.

Ola and Uber‘s similar services seem functional in Bengaluru as of Monday morning.
