A gold smartphone promising to be “built in America” may actually be made in China.

Trump Mobile, a new mobile service venture launched by the family of US President Donald Trump, entered the spotlight this week with a flashy announcement at Trump Tower in Manhattan.

The offering includes a $499 handset, dubbed the T1 Phone, and a mobile subscription plan costing $47.45 per month.
