In a historic achievement in aviation, Beta Technologies’ Alia CX300 has become the first all-electric aircraft to successfully complete a flight with passengers.

According to Fox News, the aircraft travelled from East Hampton to John F Kennedy Airport in the United States earlier this month with four passengers on board. It covered a journey of around 70 nautical miles (130 kilometres) in just over 30 minutes with a cost of just ₹694 ($8).

In stark contrast, a helicopter ride can cost more than ₹13,000 ($160) in fuel costs for completing the same…
