Defence tech startup Armory raises Rs 13 crore in round led by GrowX Ventures

Armory, a defence-tech startup focussed on counter-drone technology, has raised Rs 13 crore in a funding round led by early-stage investor GrowX Ventures.

Other participants in the round include Industrial 47, Antler, AC Ventures, Dexter Ventures, and several angel investors.

The fundraise comes at a time when interest in indigenous defence manufacturing and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered security systems is growing, with India aiming to reduce import dependence and strengthen domestic capabilities.
