Meta has hired three senior researchers from OpenAI as part of its renewed focus on building superintelligent AI, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The hires—Lucas Beyer, Alexander Kolesnikov, and Xiaohua Zhai—were previously based at OpenAI’s Zurich office, which they helped establish late last year, WSJ noted in its report.
