Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia, in an exclusive interview with CNBC-TV18 on Wednesday, clarified that all operations of the debt-laden PSU MTNL were transferred to BSNL effective January 1, 2025.

“There’s no question of a path to revival, because as of January 1, 2025, all operations of MTNL have been transferred to BSNL. So BSNL is now the operator for MTNL’s customers,” Scindia said.
