Foxconn’s Chinese staff exit from Indian units ‘negligible’ for Apple, say analysts

As concerns mount over the quiet withdrawal of Chinese engineers from Apple supplier Foxconn’s iPhone manufacturing facilities in India, leading Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has said the development will have a “negligible” impact on Apple’s production plans in the country.

In a post on Wednesday, Kuo addressed the speculation, noting that Apple was fully informed of the planned return, and that production capacity in India had been established primarily by Taiwanese staff and not Chinese personnel.
