India needs to make strategic investments in skills and ecosystem development to fully capitalise on the generative AI opportunity, says Francisco D’Souza, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of investment firm Recognize.

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, D’Souza said, “The government has an important role to play here, particularly in the areas of skills and skill retraining, and potentially in creating areas of investment focus, as it did in the early days of the IT services industry.”
