In 2017, Prukalpa Sankar, who was then 25 years old, received a call informing her that a team of officials was heading into a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The caller was agitated. “The number on this dashboard is wrong. We’re going to the PMO in 15 minutes. What’s happening?” the officer on the line asked her.
