Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) chief executive K Krithivasan has acknowledged the rise of AI-driven smaller, agile firms with new delivery models in the IT services sector but warns of deep contextual understanding and enterprise experience, which sets apart key legacy players like TCS.

In an interview with ET on Monday, he said, “Definitely, newer competition will come. At the same time, companies like TCS have an inherent advantage because the technology by itself doesn’t give you the results.”
