Jupiter Money bags corporate agency licence to enter insurance distribution

Fintech platform Jupiter Money has secured a corporate agency licence from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Irdai), marking its entry into the insurance distribution space.

The licence, which covers both life and general insurance, enables Jupiter to distribute policies directly through its app. The company said it will begin with curated offerings such as term life and health insurance in partnership with major insurers.
