US President Donald Trump on Thursday slammed US companies for hiring workers in India and setting up manufacturing in China. “Those days are over,” Trump warned, calling for companies to prioritise America’s interests.

“Many of our largest tech companies have reaped the blessings of American freedom while building their factories in China, hiring workers in India, and stashing profits in Ireland,” he said, speaking at an AI summit in Washington DC. “We need US technology companies to be all-in for America.”
