Gemini app crosses 450 million monthly active users, says Google executive

Google’s Gemini application crossed the 450 million per month active user mark, and daily usage has grown by more than 50% compared to the previous quarter, Shekar Khosla, vice president – marketing & site lead at Google India, shared in a LinkedIn post on Friday.

“The numbers say it all! @GeminiApp momentum is growing,” he said.

The development comes after Google announced free access to its premium Google AI Pro plan, which costs Rs 19,500 annually, to Indian college students aged 18 years and above. The offer is valid until September 15, 2025.
