Audrey Crews, a woman who lost movement two decades ago, has stunned the world by writing her name again using just her thoughts. This life-changing moment was made possible through a brain chip developed by Elon Musk’s company, Neuralink. Audrey is the first woman in the world to receive this implant.

Sharing her story on X (formerly Twitter), Audrey explained how the brain-computer interface (BCI) works. “I had surgery last week and everything is going amazing,” she wrote.

Doctors drilled a small hole in her skull and inserted 128 tiny threads…
