Techland has announced a delay for their upcoming survival horror title, Dying Light: The Beast. Originally slated for August 21st, the game will now launch on September 19th, 2025. The developer stated that the four-week postponement will allow for additional polishing to ensure a higher quality experience for players.
Dying Light: The Beast, a sequel to 2022’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human, promises a continuation of the franchise’s signature blend of open-world exploration, parkour movement, and intense zombie combat. The game is planned for release on PC and current-generation consoles, with versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One scheduled to arrive later in 2025. Fans will have to wait just a bit longer to dive into the horrors that await.
