A player’s discovery of what appeared to be AI-generated text prompted accusations. The screenshot shared showed text resembling a response from a generative AI tool.
In response, 11 Bit Studios acknowledged using AI-generated assets during development, clarifying that these were intended as placeholders only. They stressed that these AI-generated elements were never meant to be included in the final version of the game. To rectify the situation, the company announced plans to release an update to remove the unintended AI content.
