OpenAI to offer ChatGPT Enterprise to Trump administration for $1 per agency

OpenAI said it will offer its products and services to US government agencies “at essentially no cost”, days after the Trump administration announced its AI Action Plan.

Founder Sam Altman posted on X that OpenAI for Government will collaborate with US General Services Administration (GSA) to lend its products and services to the entire federal executive branch workforce.

The collaboration, sealed for a year, allows participating US federal agencies to utilise OpenAI frontier models through ChatGPT Enterprise, at the cost of $1 per agency.
