Executives of software giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) informed Karnataka’s labour authorities that they are not aware of the number of employees their management would lay off in various cities. The IT major will now submit its response to an IT union’s complaint of labour law violations based on the grievances of affected employees. All the officials will meet again for another conciliation on September 8.
