Supreme Court admits cross-appeals over NCLAT’s Google Play Store order

The Supreme Court on Friday admitted a batch of cross-appeals by Google Inc, its related companies, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and the Alliance of Digital India Foundation over a National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) order related to the US technology firm’s Play Store policy.

A bench comprising Justices PS Narasimha and Atul S Chandurkar said it will hear the case in November.

The appellate tribunal had in March partially upheld the antitrust regulator’s findings that Google abused its dominant position in its Play Store…
