Hyderabad-based non-banking finance company (NBFC) CredRight has raised $10 million in an equity funding round led by Abler Nordic (formerly Nordic Microfinance Initiative), making its first investment from the recently closed fifth fund.

The round also saw participation from existing investors Michael & Susan Dell Foundation and Unleash Capital.

Founded in 2016 by Neeraj Bansal and Vineet Jawa, CredRight lends to micro and small businesses such as shopkeepers and traders who lack access to formal credit. It operates through 125 branches across four…
