Karnataka High Court seeks Centre’s response on plea challenging online money gaming ban

The Karnataka High Court on Saturday, August 30, issued notice to the Union government and sought its response on a plea challenging the online money gaming ban.

The court directed the Centre to file a response on the matter, and posted the hearing for September 8.

The court said that it would decide on granting an interim relief on the issue on the next hearing.

The Centre clarified that the government is yet to notify the law for its implementation.
